Rope Her In Boys!

Yee haw! Another fine example of making something almost unwearable yet mostly interesting, and making me wonder why you bothered taking a pretty girl and putting too much makeup on her to sell it. This shrug would be awesome with a nautical themed dress, a girl skipping by the bayside feeding seagulls. But noooooo, you had to take a pretty girl and make her fugly in order to pass off your craft as art. The best part is, most of the other models are natural looking and I get the association between their faux-animal wraps and the Scandinavian chick who needs to chop wood at 5AM.

The Dookie Rope

Yes it's called the Dookie rope, yes she's wearing a $50 t-shirt designed by a thirteen year old, yes she has her pants belted up high and yes she's wearing some kind of stonewashed jacket thing. But take her seriously, she'll crochet you a knit rope any way you like.

She has her doubts

Oh wow. I love to crochet, but it is so easy to make it ugly. The model doesn't even look sure if she should be wearing it. If you look in the other picture, neither the model nor the scarf is that bad (IMHO). Why does she look like she wants to be Pocahontas, temporarily distracted by love when she should be looking out for bears?

Who the hell wears a scarf like this? She looks really worried about it, as she should be.

Look Ma No Track Marks!

Still failed my Misfits' audition though. The piece of wood I'm wearing is pretty awesome, maybe Wolves in the Throne Room will have me.
